Outreach Recovery & Rehabilitation Programs

Mind Australia offers a range of supports to assist people with a mental illness to live in the community. The aim of our programs is to promote recovery. We help people manage any disabling impacts of mental illness, work towards independence and live with greater success and satisfaction. Mind also supports people with a dual diagnosis, such as drug and alcohol dependence combined with a mental illness.

Mind’s services include:

  • Outreach - recovery and rehabilitation support for people with a mental illness. This includes our Personal Helpers and Mentors (PHaMs) service. PHaMs help people with mental illness overcome social isolation and increase their connections to the community. Our personal helpers and mentors support you on your own recovery journey.
