Volunteering
Operating a diverse range of Family Support and mental health services we offer a variety of volunteer opportunities. We have volunteer roles available both during the day and after hours. We are looking for volunteers across a number of programs, each requiring different sets of skills.Our current Volunteer roles include:
- Telephone support worker – Carer helpline
- Support group co-convener
Volunteer Selection Process
- Applicants need to complete and submit a Volunteer Application Form. An interview may then be offered, which will occur on a weekday during office hours and be approximately half an hour in length.
- The selection process for telephone support workers and support group co-convenors includes a training program and observation shifts.
- All staff and volunteer appointments with Mind Australia are subject to a three-month probation period and a satisfactory national police check, which will occur at no cost to the volunteer.
- Mind Australia accepts volunteer services with the understanding that such service is at the sole discretion of Mind.

- Training is held at the Mind Community Services Rosanna office:
Level 2, 76-80 Turnham Road, Rosanna Victoria 3084. - Training runs twice yearly.
